We began exploring the use of linear motors for deep-level mine hoists in 1994 and have worked with the world’s largest mining companies on prototypes of such hoists. In fact, linear motors can propel entire integrated mine transport solutions that move material vertically, horizontally and along inclines. Furthermore, linear motor propulsion can enable high-capacity bulk overland material transport systems with lightweight conveyances and tracks that are scalable, reliable and cost effective.
People transport
Our flat linear synchronous motor technology can be used to propel vehicles along lightweight tracks that have a small footprint. It is efficient to not have to carry the weight of fuel and a motor in each vehicle.
